Youth Worker – Tukimut Afterschool and Camp Program
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Youth Worker assists, prepares, and delivers evening activities for the Tukimut After-school Program. The Youth Worker will assist evening program staff with serving meals, DNT transportation, planning and delivering activities, and daily cleaning. The Youth Worker will communicate regularly with the Program Coordinator for scheduling, concerns, ideas, and supplies needed for the program.

Family Well Being- Cook
Under the supervision of the Family Well-being Manager, the FWB Program Cook will menu plan, shop for ingredients, and prepare nutritional daily meals and snacks for the children and families attending programming. This will be done in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide and the Certified Food Handler Training.

Tukimut Program Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Manager of Family Well-being, the Tukimut Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Centre’s afterschool program, March Break and Summer Camps for Inuit children ages 6-13 years. The Tukimut Program Coordinator is responsible for all administrative tasks related to registering participants, securing supports for participants, communication with parents, guardians and families, securing program funding, staff management, staff scheduling, staff training, youth team meetings, coordinating practicum student(s), and overseeing programming daily.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Family Well-Being, the Database Coordinator ensures the optimal use of the data management system by Inuuqatigiit Centre staff, maintains and analyzes data, develops reports for management, creates and adapts all aspects of the database program, trains staff on the use of the database, and oversees agency communications to promote programming and services.

Inuit Child First Initiative Service Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Community Initiatives and Mental Health Manager, the Inuit Child First Initiative Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of Child First Initiative coordination services of Inuit specific needs. Key components involve aiding and supporting Inuit children, youth and families with understanding, accessing and application process of the funding under the Child First Initiative Program. The ICFI Service Coordinator ensures Inuit applicants obtain the essential government funded health, social, educational supports, and cultural programs they need.

Nunavut Youth Worker
Under the supervision of the Manager of Family Well-Being, the Nunavut Youth Worker supports the well-being of Nunavummiut Youth living in Ottawa, in collaboration with government of Nunavut employees and contracted caregivers. The Nunavut Youth Worker will develop meaningful relationships with Inuit children and youth in group care or medical foster care to help maintain their understanding of Inuit knowledge and IQ Principles, hear and/or speak Inuktitut, and engage in cultural activities so that they remain connected to their identity as proud Inuit. The Nunavut Youth Worker will help Inuit children and youth in care identify goals and help them achieve their potential.
