Inuit Health Survey Field Worker 

Under the supervision of the Manager of Family Well-Being, Inuit Health Survey Field Worker is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the Qanuippitaa? National Inuit Health Survey (QNIHS) for the Ottawa-Gatineau region on behalf of Inuuqatigiit Centre, in conjunction with counterparts from across the area. The incumbent will work closely with the IHS team to coordinate the implementation of the QNIHS, including recruiting, meeting, interviewing, and supporting Inuit participants.  The incumbent will work closely with staff from the two other Inuit organizations (Akausivik Inuit Family Health Team and Tungasuvvingat Inuit) along with Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, to ensure goals and objectives are met.

Elder Support Worker

Under the supervision of the Manager of Family Well-Being, the Elders Support 
Worker plans and delivers community-based cultural programming, engages and 
supports Inuit Elders using a holistic approach and ensures safe spaces for 
clients in compliance with the current wise practices, relevant legislation and 
Inuuqatigiit Centre policies and procedures.

Student Support Services Worker-BTG

   Under the the supervision of the Manager of Education, the Student Support Services Worker (SSSW) will report directly to the BTG Program Supervisor. The SSSW will develop trusting relationships with students, parents, and community partners, and provide social-emotional well-being and case management support. The SSSW will also support community members both within schools and in the broader community, while sharing relevant cultural information with community partners. In addition, the SSSW will develop and implement student success plans for both elementary and secondary students.

Inclusion Pedagogist 

Under the supervision of the Early Years Manager, the Inclusion Pedagogist is a specialized educator embedded within our licensed childcare programs to enhance inclusive practices and support the integration of children with special needs. The Inclusion Pedagogist will collaborates with educators, supervisors, families, and Special Needs Resource partners to co-develop and implement inclusive strategies that foster equitable, responsive, and supportive learning environments.

Silatuniq Student Support Services Worker

Under the supervision of the Manager of Education and the direct supervision of the Silatuniq Youth Engagement Program Supervisor, the Student Support Services Worker provides culturally responsive support, education, and advocacy to schools, students, and families to promote academic achievement and overall student success for elementary and secondary students. The role is responsible for delivering high-level case management support, coordinating services, monitoring student progress, facilitating communication between schools and families, and connecting students with appropriate educational, cultural, and community resources to support their well-being and engagement in school.

Post Secondary Education Career Counsellor/Caseworker

Under the supervision of the Manager of Education the Career Counsellor / Caseworker supports Inuit adults (18+) in achieving their educational, career, and employment goals. The position provides individualized career planning, case management, education-to-employment transition support, job search assistance, and coordination of support services. The Career Counsellor works collaboratively with schools, post-secondary institutions, employers, training providers, local trade unions, and community organizations to ensure participants receive culturally responsive, effective, and holistic support throughout their educational and employment journey.

Silatuniq Career Counsellor/Caseworker

Under the supervision of the Manager of Education the Silatuniq Career Counsellor/ Caseworker supports Inuit youth in setting and achieving their educational, career, and employment goals. The role involves individualized career planning, case management, education-to-employment transition support, and collaboration with schools, employers, training providers, and community organizations to ensure youth have access to meaningful opportunities and ongoing support. The Career Counsellor provides job search assistance, employment readiness support, and coordination of services tailored to participant needs. Working collaboratively with schools, employers, pre-employment training programs, and community organizations, the Career Counsellor ensures participants receive culturally responsive, effective, and holistic support throughout their educational and employment journey.

Nunavut Youth Cultural Worker

The Nunavut Youth Cultural Worker will develop meaningful relationships with Inuit children and youth in group care or medical foster care to help maintain their understanding of Inuit knowledge and IQ Principles, hear and/or speak Inuktitut, and engage in cultural activities so that they remain connected to their identity as proud Inuit. The Nunavut Youth Cultural Worker will help Inuit children and youth in care identify goals and help them achieve their potential.

Youth Mental Health Counsellor will be responsible for the provision of assessment and 
counselling services for Inuit children and youth. Services will be embedded in an Inuit 
cultural framework for mental wellness that combines western and Inuit specific knowledge 
and counselling practices

Youth Worker – Tukimut Afterschool and Camp Program

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Youth Worker assists, prepares, and delivers evening activities for the Tukimut After-school Program. The Youth Worker will assist evening program staff with serving meals, DNT transportation, planning and delivering activities, and daily cleaning. The Youth Worker will communicate regularly with the Program Coordinator for scheduling, concerns, ideas, and supplies needed for the program.
